Hello,

I have a minor issue that I am hoping is easily solvable.

Currnely have 3CX multi-tenant with first of those multiple tenants configured with no problem.
I now have an additional tenant to configure, however the number is provided by the same SIP provider, so same IP originations point.

Should I add multiple SIP Trunks in 3CX, as there will be no way for 3CX to be able to distinguish who the call is for, and therefore will just take the default route?
Can anyone make any suggestions to overcome this, if it's even possible?

Does your provider not include the DID information in the INVITE? If they do, then that can be used to route the call to the destination. You just create DID rules.

This is dependent of the provider. Ask them if they allow multiple registrations from the same IP Address. This is the reason why we use specific providers in the 3CX SMB Free platform. To allow for this.

The provider will need to process the "rinstance" parameter to allow for multiple registrations from the same multi-tenant.

If they dont, then you will just need to create a system wide provider connection and distribute the DIDs to the tenants manually. YOU will have to mange this SIP account for the billing and configuration. If the SIP account that is already is assigned and paid for by a customer, then you are in a difficult position, as the same SIP provider cannot be used on other tenants.

Hi Nicholas

Thanks for the prompt reply, this is exactly how I have now configured it, i have 1 universal connector to the provder, then using DID's to distribute into each Department/queue....I bill all clients independently as it gives me a bit more control over the entire end-to-end solution.

Thanks again
Pete
