I had a longer call during driving, and the phone lost the mobile network for seconds during driving through a tunnel.
After the end of the tunnel, the call did not resume properly. It still was on the phone, but no audio came through. The information bar of the androd app displaying the call quality was not shown after the network was up again.
But the call was not dropped because when I later transferred it to another extension audio did work again (I also was able to transfer back to the mobile phone).
From my knowledge, this behaviour is present (most of the time) since long ago, but I never had a chance to verify it. Depends on the length of the loss of network.
Also happens if the mobile network changes from 4G to edge and back (with edge calling is near impossible, but I would expect if 4G is available again the call should continue).
Since the Program now can do handover between mobile network and wifi, why doesnt it handle a mobile outage better? Again (as I wrote multiple times) I miss an automatic message "your call is held, please stand by why the call resumes" when things like this or the handover happens. If the call only is silent for some short amount of time, most people will hang up early.
