Hi all, we are playing with 18 Alpha (I just updated it again to Alpha5 to see if it helped) we are having a weird issue, in that our DID's are wildly inconsistent, even though the log shows the DID being dialed every few calls it will just goto the Main Greeting. I am checking with the carrier but I clearly see the DID. We have alot of DID's and all the ones that were there before v18 seem to be working perfectly. Its just this new block of 8. The activity log shows sip:+1xxxxxxx and I will just get the default. If I move the rules around, it seems to work again for like 3-4 calls and then stops?!?! (just what it looks like, idk if this is actually a thing)

I have the rescue backup , Im guessing if i need to, I can reinstall and restore the rescue backup which would be the last one before the upgrade if it turns out to be a 3cx issue. FWIW , We have 18 running in a handful of smaller sites without issue and everyone really likes the new web and phone apps!

However, this is a larger client, and we didnt plan on updating them but the auto-update loaded the alpha version (I thought it doesnt do that with auto updates? , but thats another issue)

Are you using a supported provider? And 3CX does not auto update to Alphas.

For your routing issue, turn on verbose logging and compare the working vs not working calls. Possible you have multiple trunks to the same provider?

The activity log shows sip:+1xxxxxxx and I will just get the default.
Did you add your DIDs with this format also? The DID and the called number the provider is sending need to match in order for the call to be routed correctly. Make sure that you added the new DIDs in the correct format. Also check if the called number from the provider is always the same format.

Thanks, Im not sure who updated that unit.

I did track down the issue , even though I was seeing the calls something was not right from the vendor, we worked through some of it yesterday. It turns out these DIDs are from a marketing company and were all CFWDs to the main number. I didnt find this out until yesterday these werent DID's from their vendor

Glad to see you were able to track down the issue. I assume that the PBX is seeing all calls coming to the same number then thus the routing issue. If that is the case then you should this out from the providers end.
