Hi all,

i've got a Yealink DECT and Deskphone at site and the deskphone works fine, the extension on the DECT is stick registering.

im suspicious this is maybe down to it fighting for 5060?

Whats the easiest way to fix this? (without SBC)

I know before you could set local SIP via 3CX - is this doable?

It's been years but as I recall each STUN phone needed its own set of ports forwarded in the router. From an old 3CX doc I saved:

"For each IP Phone installed at the same Remote Location, set a:
- Unique SIP port not shared with any other phone
- Unique range of RTP ports, not overlapping with any other phones"

xD

They're a charity and are unlikely to spend the money to bang an SBC phone in here.

i know previous iterations of 3CX it was possible to specify local SIP port.

Do I just need to change this on the phone? Is that whats causing me issues here?

Hello Alphabetic,

Just make sure the phones own port is NOT 5060.
On the Yealink you can set the SIP port, example set phone 1 to 5070 and the phone 2 to 5080.
Should wok fine... should ;)

I just checked and they already had their local SIP ports different.

in the end I just set up a VPN between the head office and this one and set them up to use the SBC at HQ.
