We enable 2FA for all users by default. However, there is an important distinction between enabling 2FA for a user and the user actually activating 2FA.

When 2FA is enabled for a user, the user must log out and log back in to complete the activation process. On existing systems where 2FA is enabled globally, all users are automatically marked as 2FA = ON, even if they have not yet completed the activation by re‑logging.

This makes it difficult to see which users have actually activated 2FA versus those for whom it is only enabled.

Would it be possible to visually distinguish between these two states, for example:

  • Enabled: grey checkmark
  • Activated: green checkmark

This would make it immediately clear which users have already activated 2FA and which ones still need to complete the process.
