We are in a demo pilot of 3CX currently with 3 locations testing. We like the product but my Marketing team and CEO have 2 deal breakers. With the new group setup will it ever be possible to setup MOH by group or by DID?? I would also really like to set an operator by group so if someone wants to back out of a voice mail they can go back to that store receptionist... Think it will ever happen or should I just move along?

The upcoming groups feature should be able to cover these 2 options (but no promises, things change), but as of today this can't be done so well. You could do something with a call queue (call queue has it's own MOH and you could set DNA to specific extension, but it's a workaround, not a natively supported option.

Why not spin up a bunch of small PBXes and uses bridges if you need them to be this separate?

I don't want to setup and manage 32 PBX's That is what I currently do.

Sorry, I re-read your first message and misunderstood the first time.

I don't think separate MOH by DID is coming (based on #52) but it may come by group, that is if "StartUP" actually goes live for On-Prem (#2). Similar with Operator.

It's impossible to predict with 100% accuracy what 3CX decides, so we will have to wait and see.

We have a similar problem. We need to bring 11 different countries together on one system.
Every one of these countries has its own holiday schedule and sip trunks. Is there a possibility to set separate holiday schedules per sip trunk which take effect on all inbound rules (users) on a specific sip trunk?

The default holliday schedules in the system are system wide , you could offcourse build something in CFD and not use the holliday settings in the admin portal itself.

Also looking forward to this. I believe it has been stated in one of the threads that per extension group timezones and holidays would be coming under the new-multi-company mode which is probably a side benefit of the StartUp mode development. From memory planned for update 6 but consider all the usual caveats around future features and timelines (things can change).

What is StartUp mode and did multi-company mode end up launching?

StartUP more or less replaces Standard, but 3CX-hosted only. Look through blog posts from this summer:

https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/posts-articles-news/
https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/startup/
https://www.3cx.com/ordering/pricing/

Though StartUP was announced and has public pricing and is apparently orderable, it seems from posts here it's still in beta testing? I think the same thing with the MCM property setting from what I've read. It sounds to me like many of those features are in progress and it'll be a couple more updates to get it all out.
