I am running 3CX 15.5 Pro with a few hundred Yealink handsets. When the phone system was first set up we had configured it so that each handset that was provisioned through 3CX would register itself in DNS with the full DID followed by our FQDN.
Eg, if the DID of one handset was 025678912123 then it would register in DNS as 025678912123.fqdn.com.
For some reason over the past few months something has changed, and any new handsets we provision/deploy are all registering with the default DNS of 'SIP-T46S.fqdn.com'.
I can't seem to locate what might have changed or how to correct it. It could be something really simple that I've overlooked but I couldn't find anything by searching the forums or Google. Can anyone please help to point me in the right direction?
