Solved 3CX Activation server not reachable for renewing license

Hello,

I am running a 3CX server version 15.5.15502.6 and the license will expire in a week. This is a stable production system with customized networking and I am not willing to upgrade it for now but I saw suggestions that the activation.3cx.com server license upgrade has caused this connection error and I need the latest version. I would like to see an alternative way to make this renewed enterprise license installed on the server and not cause me a headache and trouble of upgrading a custom server.

Please help me if there is an alternative

Hi @mhariri,

Did you install the hotfix? You should be able to find it in your management console for another week.

Also I must mention, as V15 is EOL (end of life), it's highly suggested that you upgrade. With V18 coming soon, this would put you two versions behind.

I tried the V15 latest update and it did not resolve the issue. It was still not able to connect to the activation server.

I bit the bullet and reinstalled the whole system with the latest update last night and it is fixed now. Thanks!
