What do you do if you can't get on the internet to activate 3CX. Is there a way for offline activation?

As it is an ip system I doubt they thought that there would be a situation where it wasnt connected to the internet at some point.

There is no manual activation as far as I know.

You may have to connect it up for the activation and then disconnect it again.

I assume that you are running it on a private lan with no internet access and with a gateway to analog lines.

It has to be on some network for your phones to connect to make a call. So just let that network connect to the internet for a few minutes.

This has been brought up (rarely) in the past. There have been some customer sites so remote, that there is no internet service. What has been done in these cases is to set-up the basic system at another location, activate it, then move it to the customer location.

If you had a mobile phone with data and hotspot capability, assuming there is mobile service at the customers location, you may be able to rig up a temporary access using a wireless client device to connect the 3CX server to the net.

as mentioned it works to aktivate the system in a different location with internet but you MUST make sure that once you activate the system that the IP addresses do no change on the host forcing the host to reactivate it self! Since V11 its even a bit more harder due to the systems revalidates the liz every 6 month...

That is assuming that the customer site eventually gets internet access, or the system is taken off-site (again) to have some work done.
