Now I know this is unsupported, It's not a complaint or a request. I'm just looking to see if anyone has any ideas of the top of their head that might help me.
We have several of these Lenovo devices that were designed to run the Teams IP Phone App... I got 3CX on there however i cannot receive calls at all on versions newer than 16.0. I'm pretty sure this is due to it missing Google Play Services (No Firebase / GCM) and from what I could find it looks like the new version relies on fully registering that it's ready to take calls via Firebase/GCM.
What I'm wondering is if anyone knows of a way around this (Eg. 3CX Working with Pushy 3rd party push service) or anything. I see there is a new beta for 16.4.x and I'll try it once I can get home and *hopefully export the apk with the arm v7a lib apks with it.
I'm just basically fishing for someone to say "No, it can't work like that" or a "Well actually there may be a way around the lack of push"
I've tried potentially rooting for google services buuuuuut on the bootloader unlock, when it goes to factory reset it bricks sooooo
sadness right there. Silly little lenovo devices... They would make great 3CX videophones though and so far work fairly well with the v16.0 app so that's something
Whatever happens, I thank you
