3CX App: Muting the ringtone on your computer

I have the 3CX App Store client installed, along with a desk phone. I am having trouble muting the ringer: using the button within the application does not work, and while muting it via the Windows volume mixer does work, the setting resets upon a restart. The office requirement is for the ringer to sound only through the desk phone.
