3CX Assitant with Outlook 2007 (not working)

Hi,

I am getting the following error when I try to get 3cx assistant to work with outlook 2007:

Unable to cast COM object of type 'Microst.Office.Interop.Outlook.ApplicationClass' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook._Appliction'. This operation fail because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{00063001-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: Library not registered. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002801D (TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED)).

From what I can gather I need to register a newer version of a library on my computer than I currently have registered. I just cant find what this library is.

Has anyone else come across this error before? and have you managed to solve this?

I am willing to accept that my machine may be a little messy as its a dev machine. the problem is 50% of the staff that need this CRM plugin also have messy dev machines.

I forgot to add that the outlook plugin seems to have loaded according to outlook 2007 trust center

Ok I think this is tipical!

Put a post up after 3 days of trying to solve a problem then find a solution.

the problem was down to me having installed VISIO 2010 and project 2010 beta. they registered the new 2010 libs but had not installed the libs. its registry mod to fix the problem and this link was excellent
