3cx Avaya integration

Just looking to get a 3cx system to talk to our Avaya ip500 system.
Only need to dial extensions from one to the other. Once that'd done and working I will look to get the 3cx to dial out the Ayaya.

Avaya is all digital sets, or I would just have replaced the system with 3cx.
Any help is welcome, as I'm a little lost on getting the truck setup.

Many ways to try and skin this cat.
Does Avaya allow you to create a bridge to another system? Thats the way to go.
If not, can you register the Avaya as an extension on 3cx. Perhaps an Avaya Trunk to 3cx Extension?
Or vice-versa. Or both.

I think I figured it out, using a sip trunk between them. Then sending a prefix along the way so I know where the calls are coming from/going to.

This should work fine, I have created a bridge to the Avaya directly and across a VPN, both work fine but with a lot of nagging from the Avaya end.
