Hello,
I have been trying to set up my 3cx account to operate with AVOXI for a few days. I have created the SIP trunks and set the Authentication credentials on Avoxi and 3cx. Incoming calls work perfectly but I still can't do outbound calls. Tried several tweaks and followed the suggested settings I found in various threads in this forum without luck so far.
My latest error is:

[CM504005]: Registration failed for: Lc:10000(@AVOXI[<sip:[email protected]:5060/UDP>]); Cause: Cause: 403 Forbidden/REGISTER from 35.231.63.162:5060

In 3cx sip trunk setup, I have tried both the domain and the IP provided by Avoxi and for Authentication, I have tried all options (my current is "RegisterAccount based). Both Inbound/Outbound calls are allowed.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi @a.tzounis

Since this error comes from AVOXI's IP address then Its best you speak with them first so they can tell you what is causing the issue. It could be the authentication during the call or the number format you are using or a SIP header that needs adjusting.
Once they tell you what is causing the issue you can make the corrections in 3CX. Or you could opt for a 3CX supported provider which has been tested to work with 3CX and all settings are preconfigured.

Hi Yanni,
Thanks for the quick response.
I will reach out to AVOXI and see how it goes. Will keep you posted.

So...on 3CX, the trunk does not show as registered (going by the log you posted), yet you are still able to receive calls?

Their website shows 3CX, as one of the entities that they connect to, so I would think they should be able to sort it out.
