3cx Beta Client one-way audio

Hi there,

I recently installed v16 u3 on my debian server. Before that I had the v16 u2 ALPHA running.

After the update my Samsung S8 only gets one-way audio.

I tried a different Android phone with the current 3cx Client and had no problems there. Before the update, the 3cx beta Client worked pretty smooth.

Any hint how this can be resolved?

You did not mention what version your Android OS version is or 3CX app version.

Can you please share those details (exact versions)?

the working Android 3cx APP: 16.0.0.35

Do you have the car bluetooth option turned on? (Settings > Advanced?)

I recently update to the general release, but the problem still persists.
So I deactivated the car bluetooth option, it was on before, and then it worked.

My Samsung S8 is Running Android Version 9
Kernel 4.4.111-16290088

So, I can't get any calls while driving, is that it for now? Can this be fixed?

Disabling it does not necessarily mean you cannot get calls while driving, it just an alternative Telecom API that helps some people that have issues on specific bluetooth implementations (android to android differs).

I think you should still be able to use it if you pair to your car now.

Exactly - you will get calls still but you need to answer by pressing answer on the phone (You will not be able to answer by pressing the buttons on the steering or dash)

Telecom api makes it safer..
