Hi all,

I have two SBC's (both router phones) and am using 3CX cloud.

Every time I try to provision my 2nd router phone, it seems to take the config, when it goes to register - it fails and then my IP gets blacklisted.

The error it's throwing back is:

SIP request (REGISTER) from [REDACTED_PUBLIC_IP] was rejected. Reason: Block WAN requests is ON.
Message: REGISTER sip:[REDACTED_3CX_CLOUD] SIP/2.0

How should I provision the phone, connect via the old SBC (though it's on a different WAN so I don't think that will work) Or connect directly?

Thanks
Matt

It seems that one of the phones is not actually connected as a router phone, if you have that message coming up.

Check that both the phones are actually defined as router phones in the users page.

In my example here, one is the router phone, and the other is a phone connected behind it as a normal phone. Normal phones should not pose an issue as they are connecting through the SBC,

Check that you dont have any phones defined as local phones

This would cause the error you are seeing. You can have multiple phones per extension so see if that is also the case.

They do both display as Router Phones, though one is offline, as when I plug it in it seems to block my IP each time!

Make sure the device is on the proper firmware. It may not have the correct formware with the SBC software embedded.

https://www.3cx.com/docs/phone-firmwares/

Reset the phone, load the proper firmware, and then set it up again.

Thanks Nicolas, come to mention it, I pulled it out the box and attempted to provision it so this may be the issue thank you. I will try that and see how I get on.
