I've got a Digital Receptionist routine setup for a Ring Group which forwards to a base station with six extensions attached to it.

User dials the extension, hears a recorded message and can press 1 to call all the extensions in the ring group. There are six extensions (all in the same office), and all DECT phones are attached correctly to the base, when I press the page button, they all ring and each individual extension works and can dial and be called.

When I dial the main extension and press 1, only four of the phones ring, two of them stay silent. I created a new call group, added the six extensions and directed the digital receptionist to this new group and again, only four rang, but this time it was different phones that ring (the two that didn't now do, but two others don't). Interestingly, the 3CX app rings for the ones that don't AND the one's that do.

Am I putting too many extensions onto the base station for 3CX to handle passing the call? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you!

Which basestation is it (brand & type)?
Can it be that the base station only allows 4 lines at the same time? (If I'm correct, the gigaset N510 Pro does the same. 6 dect phones, but only 4 simultaneous lines)

it may also depends from which audio codec you use, even if base is able to connect 6phones it is not possible to use with wide bandwith audio codecs

Thank you to both of you. The phones are Yealink W60B DECT and the codecs are in order of use:

GSM-FR
G729
G.711 U-law
G.711 A-law
G722

Just to add my own research, it seems the W60B can handle 8 concurrent calls, so I think that can be ruled out?

Not sure at all you can really use more than 5 simultaneously. try to set for test with G729 first codec, reprovision the base after codec order change.
Other test set only 5 handset and do your same call test
