3CX Call ID in Reports

Hi,

We were wondering if the unique call ID is associated with any part of the system that would allow us to search by it, in order to quickly locate and download the corresponding call recording?

The new cdr_id field introduced in v20 U6 or U7 (I forget exactly when added) is not published via the 3CX Call Control API real-time events. The only place that data is available is in the 3CX database, but we are not permitted to access the database directly. You can find a reference to the cdr_id field in the table exported by the new Grafana feature, but that table does not include the recording file name. I have heard, although I have not tried it myself, that it may be possible to include the recording file name in the CRM integration by editing the template. Maybe there is something helpful in that process?

Filename you can't. Only the Raw URL or an hyperlink HTML version of the URL. Neither contains the filename unfortunately.

Well, that is not going to be a solution then. Thanks for the clarification @ConceptsWeb.

In that case, you may want to take a look at our 3CX Exporter tool which replicates the new cdrrecordings table on a scheduled basis (default every 60 seconds). This table includes both the cdr_id and recording_url (<folder>/<filename>). Perhaps that would help? We can build whatever you need.
