Hi all,

I'm experiencing an issue with DDI call routing in 3CX Cloud Free with a Gradwell SIP Trunk.
  • Calls to the main trunk number (+44XXXXXXXXX) work fine and ring the correct assigned extension (21011).
  • Calls to any of the assigned DDI numbers do not route to the correct extensions – instead, they all ring 21011 (the default trunk route).
  • All DDIs are listed under the SIP Trunk settings in 3CX, and I've assigned them to the correct users under Users → General → DID Numbers.
All DDI numbers appear in the 3CX trunk settings, Each DID is assigned to the correct extension.

In the 3CX Activity Log:
  • When calling a DDI, the "To" field shows only 21011, not the actual DID number dialed.
  • Does this suggest the SIP provider is not passing the correct DDI information to 3CX?
Any ideas or things to check would be helpful - surely 3CX free isn't limited to one DDI?

Thanks
Matt

The DID numbers will ned to match exactly to be routed through. You will need to check with Gradwell in which format they want you to define the DIDs.

They may require it in 44XXXXX format for example.

Yeah i've tried +44 and 01*** etc.. but neither work. They haven't been particularly helpful in confirming anything with me either.

As long as it's not a limitation of 3CX free or anything, i'll keep trying!

This is my SIP Config:

Then under DID numbers I've listed all the other extensions as you can see the other number is assigned to 21010 not 21011, yet it still rings 21011....

I've also changed the default route and it just does the same, but to a different extension...

Thanks

On our site, in the details for each provider, Gradwell is listed as needing 44XXXXXXXX so try adding them into that format, without the + and definitely not in National format beginning with 0

My god I can't believe it - that was all it was. xD

I tried +44 and 01 and no luck and it was a + that was stopping the whole thing from working.....

Thank you so much Nicholas!
