Our setup is a Plantronics Blackwire 3315 serie connected to a Windows 10 machine thats running the 3CX Webclient in the new Chromium Edge. We have the Plantronics Hub installed but when we open the 3CX webclient --> Settings -- Personalise then we see an error at the Headset integration:
Selected headset Plantronics:
Code:
Error connecting to Plantronics Hub. (Have you installed and run Plantronics Hub from www.plantronics.com/software, or are you Firefox user and getting "Error connecting to Plantronics Hub."? If so visit this URL: https://127.0.0.1:32018/Spokes/DeviceServices/Info and click Advanced > Add Exception... to add a security exception to allow the connection.

I've opened the URL they mentioned but all i get is a JSON response not a webpage.

Googled for some hours and can't find the reason what is going wrong. Did found this script: https://pltdev.github.io/Plantronics JavaScript Sample.html and that seems to work?

Version:
3CX Webclient: v4.3.0.319
Blackwire 3315 firmware: v1093
Phantornics Hub: 3.19.0

We've got exactly the same problem with the latest Version 3.19 of Plantronics HUB. Version 3.17 of Plantronics HUB is doing well. Anyway the JavaScript Sample is working fine.

Version 3.18 of Plantronics HUB was also struggeling. I would love to know why Plantronics HUB Updates are always so buggy. In both directions Webclient and HUB.

If you need Plantronics HUB Version 3.17 send me a private message and I will send it over to you. Unfortunately these older Version aren't available by Plantronics.

Best regards
Ingo

Ah good to know i'm not alone ;-) Did you find a solution in the mean time? Unfortunately i didn't. Could you send me over the v3.17 version? I would love you give that i try. The main frustration now is that when college's lock there screen and the phone rings it takes to long to login and then answer. I was hoping pushing the answer button on the Plantronics remote would solve that.

Our main problem is, that the connection between the headset and the station is not stable without the headset integration. When there is too little audio transfer, there is always this click sound in the station, when the connection is lost or is established again. Very frustrating when you want to speak to customers.
The good thing is, we only have 5-10 plantronics headsets any more, the rest of our users use the sennheiser d10 usb, they work perfectly.

Hi guys, I am using Blackwire 3210 with the Plantronics Hub version 3.19.0. It could answer, decline, and control the volume of the 3CX Chrome browser extension. My browser extension version is 4.3.0.319. The issue I encountered was the extension answered the phone after 3 seconds I press the answer button on my Blackwire 3210 headset.

Hi 58viop, we don't use the browser extension, we only use the webclient itself. What if you uninstall the extension and use the webclient with plantronics integration, can you still do everything?
What 3CX version are you at?

Hi Philk,

Yes, it works. I disabled the browser extension and enabled the web client. Configure the Plantronics headset integration as below. My 3CX version is 16.0.6.655. I can answer the call on the headset.

Just tried my Voyager 3200 UC headset with BT600 USB dongle. It worked with 3CX web client to answer, and hangup the call.

Blackwire 3210 firmware version v.210
Voyager 3200 headset firmware version v.345
BT600 version v.1723
Plantronics hub version 3.19.0
Web client version 127.0.0.1
PBX version 16.0.6.655
Chrome version 85.0.4183.121 (official version) (64 bit)

Thanks to @HSTeam i can confirm that Plantronics HUB. v3.17 is working with the 3CX Browser extension for chromium Edge.
3CX Webclient: v4.3.0.319
Blackwire 3315 firmware: v1093
Phantornics Hub: 3.17.0
Chromium Edge Version 85.0.564.63 (Official build) (64-bit)

@58voip Have you tried enabling the Browser Extension again? Or do you think that the Browser Extension causes the problem? There are two reasons for us why we want to use the extension:
  1. Numbers are automatically underlined and have a ClickCall action
  2. Even if you close the browser you are still reachable.

@Triple, yes tried again with my Chrome browser extension, it worked. Have you checked that your browser extension detected your blackwire headset like below?

Restart of the computer and all work now. -_-
Just rolled out v3.17 to all PCs and everybody is happy it now works. Thanks for your help!

Hopefully this would be fixed in a newer version in Plantronics Hub or 3CX (don't know who's fault it is)

It is really funny to see your conversation, because 58voip is talking about a fully working plantronics hub version 3.19 and Triple is always talking about problems with 3.19 and has now rolled out 3.17 again.
My problems are the same as Triple. 3.19 is not working. 3.18 as well. 3.17works.
