3cx can't connect to web API

I've rebuilt my PC and reinstalled the 3cx phone for windows client, but since rebuilt it won't connect to the web API. I've read another thread on the subject but it's not given a solution.

I inserted Fiddler in the mix and it threw up an issue where the client was looking for /MyPhone/MPWebService.asmx on the server and getting a 404 error.

If that's not a bug I don't know what is :lol:

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have experienced this (or similar) once before.

I changed the system around for a client and the 3CX phone for W would no longer connect correctly. For expediency sake, I had manually provisioned it. I ended up sending the email with the config file and then drug it into the phone and it worked instantly. I have no clue what caused it to work as the visible settings all appeared the same as the ones I had manually entered. I never looked back.

You might also look at the firewall settings on your PC.

Can you clarify if you go in the server and open http://127.0.0.1:WEB_PORT_PBX/MyPhone/MPWebService.asmx do you get a page or do you see 404 ? Is your webserver (Abyss/IIS) running and all others 3cs services too?
