3CX client causing PC slow down

since the last update (service pack 3) the 3cx client is causing well spec business machines to pause not accepting any keyboard or mouse input. With 3cx not running it seems to cure the symptoms. Has the optimizations for 3cx caused it to be to aggressive in grabbing esources?
