Hello

If I use the WebClient from 3CX I can click on a person to call and my Snom phone calls automatic.
But if I do the same with the local 3CX Client in CTI Mode, I can click on a person to call but the Snom phone makes no reaction. This happens on all PC's in my company.
What is wrong?

Thanks Marcel

Hello @mwaver

What PBX version are you running? You can see the exact build number on the dashboard next to the licence info.
Is the 3CX server local or remote? Are the clients and the phones in the same subnet? Give us a little more details regarding your configuration so we can better understand the issue.

Hello YiannisH

I have the version Professional 15.5.6354.2. It's installed on a server in our internal LAN.
All phones and 3CX are in the same subnet.
Interesting is, the "WebClient" works to make a call with the Snom Hardware. Just the 3CX Client Software in CTI Mode can init a call for my Snom D375 phone.

Thx Marcel

Try un-installing the antivirus on one of the pc's as a test and disable windows firewall as well. Restart the pc and try again.

I have tried that, but it not works.

So, I have made a network trace to see what's going on:

Now, a new problem with the 3CX Client after solving the flag!!
The 3CX Client makes in background command.htm?key=P1,10,2000,5;8;1;ENTER
The first key=P1 means, it press remote on the phone the first function button. This was in the past the "line" button, but we have configured from function key 1 to 12 BLF! On position 1 is a BLF and not the free line.
That means the 3CX Client start always the command the P1 and always the same person will called, dosen't matter which person I selected.
In this way we can't use the 3CX Client in CTI mode to start a call.

hope you can fix the 3CX Client soon.

Thx Marcel

Glad to hear the issue has been resolved and thank you for sharing your solution. However the default template does not provision this option and by default on a factory reset device this is set to off. Just provisioned 2 different phones and the option is set to off so it must have been manually set to on of shipped from factory with the setting to on.

That is the way CTI works, you need the first button to be set to line for CTI to properly work
