3CX Client Side CRM Integration

Hi

There used to be a wizard that would allow us to create a client side CRM Integration but I can't find it anymore, has this been removed?

i'm also facing a similar problem:
3cx and vtiger.

i set up the server side part:
- i can see some results using the test search.
- i can see crm contacts in clients.

i cannot allow any extension to integrate vtiger in their desktop app; my integration list is empty, (under EXTENSIONS \ INTEGRATION \ ENABLE INTEGRATION)

is there something i'm missing?

my goal is to open a "customer popup window" when my extension answers an incoming call.

Please note that it only works with Visual Studio 2015. We're not promoting it anymore, we encourage users to go server side using this tool:

However, if you need to create a client side script, the API is still available and you can use it.

You don't need to do that. That's for client side integration, if you configured the server side integration you don't need to do anything else. The contact link button will be shown by the 3CX Web Client when you receive an inbound call from a known contact.

ok, i didn't notice the small link in the incoming call.

now i think i've got 2 problems

1)

the RECORD ID is 3, what is that "12x" ?

2)
i neet to use https:// instead of http:// but when i configure as https and press TEST i got an exception

but opening the link from chrome shows a green "SECURE"
just to be complete the certificate is issued by comodo and is something like *.MYDOMAIN.COM

any suggestion?

That's the Contact ID returned by vTiger. Usually vTiger understands it as well, and you can open the contact record by following the link.

You can try downloading the certificate from the browser, and manually installing it in the 3CX server.

i think i managed the https certificate issue:
- export from chrome fullchail p7b
- copy .p7b file on the 3cx machine
- convert to .crt with openssl pkcs7 -inform der -print_certs -in file.p7b -out file.crt
- copy to /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/
- reload certificates with update-ca-certificates --fresh

still gor problems with the "12x"

it seems that vTiger has this schema in returned ids:
- Contacts start with 12X,
- Accounts start with 11X,
- Products start with 14X,
- ...

That changes from installation to installation. In my testing environment for example it's 4x for contacts. And also, I can open the contact record with that prefix without any problem. If you can't open the contact record, please contact vTiger support, as you might need to enable some permission.

I am wondering which version of Vtiger you are using? Self hosted or cloud hosted? The cloud hosted has a integration where as the self hosted doesn't. For the self hosted you would need an external integration script.
