I'm having a problem where I cant connect 2 handsets from 1 remote location at the same time. I can connect one OR the other but not both.

Different extentions setup the same (different extn no/username/pw) both at the same remote location.

Any clues please?

When provisioning in STUN in 3CX, make sure to use different SIP ports and RTP ports for each.

For example:
  • Phone 1 uses SIP 5065 and RTP 14001-14019
  • Phone 2 uses SIP 5075 and RTP 14101-14119

Then, port forward those to the reserved DHCP address of each phones.

If you plan on adding more phones, I recommend going with an SBC.

Thank you, I ended up installing SBC and its workign fine now. Much apreciated.

Hi Phil,

Glad it was sorted. The SBC should make things much easier, especially if you want to add new phones in the future, they can just show up in the management console and you simply assign them to the extension you want.
