Hi

When we deploy to cloud, usually GCP, the launcher API used to create a disk of 10GB, but now creates one of 50GB

Is there any way to control the size of HDD that gets created?

Yes, use the Marketplace image instead on GCP. It allows more customization.

@DaveA66 yes you are right on this.
We reconsidered it and 10G is way to low to have a professional system installed on and with good performance.
A good average in order to have some updates installed (OS I mean) and some recordings/vmails and keep is stable,
its around 50G.
Because if the disk starts filling up, then performance will also go down of everyting.
But you may use Marketplace image and set it up accorging to your needs as our friend metioned above !!
