Hi

When in a conference does the PBX handle all audio ? If phones are on the internal lan does the PBX still handle all audio and not hand off to the phones to communicate with each other ?

In a conference the PBX would mix all streams and all phones would be talking direct to PBX

If you are using the PBX conferencing extension to host the conference then the PBX will handle all audio.
