3CX Cuts of GSM calls

I've had a couple of issues recently with the android app and cutting off existing GSM calls when a 3CX call comes through to the app.

It appears to put the GSM call on hold, but when the 3cx call is dismissed the GSM call is not retrievable and is cut off.

One device was a Samsung Galaxy A20e with 3CX version number 16.2.0 (Beta)
Another is a Samsung Galaxy A20e but with the normal release of the app.

The PBX is on the latest version 16.0.4.493

We have also had some reports on another 3CX install but don’t have any details regarding it

Has anyone else experienced this?

If the beta of today does not fix this issue, then you are completely at the mercy of Samsung. And I have a feeling that the phones you mention will never get another update because now our friends in Korea are deep into the foldable technology, the new S20.. and struggling to decide which Android 9 phones will go to Android 10.

Yes do that and let me know.
Look remember - If your phone does not have support for telecom api, you will have unpredictable behavior. So actually, I will wait for you to tell me what behavior you have.

But one thing is for sure. if you have a gsm call, and a sip call comes, then we enforce it and send the sip to fw rules. That is in all phones with or without telecom api.

I still have the same result with the beta.

Is there anything i could change on the android phone to help?

Update on this for us, Galaxy Note 9, telecom API was switched off by default, turned it on and all seems to be working at the min.

Which means that Galaxy Note 9 supports telecom api.
