Google is proving fruitless unfortunately. The ESXi is v6.0 and try to install the latest 3CX v16.

Anyone come across this issue before? Works completely fine on a 6.7 ESXi

EDIT: It appears you need an internet connection even during the install as it downloads a preconfig file from 3CX servers.

Hello Zhongjie,

I've checked and seen that ESXi v6.0 is no longer supported by VMware as of March 12, 2020. May I suggest updating to the latest version, which worked well for you in the past then trying again?

I found out the issue, we were installing in a contained DMZ without internet and 3CX needs to download a config file during the install.

Great to hear! That is correct, during installation you require access to the activation server. Glad you have it working now.
