3CX Debian

I was doing some proof of concept work with the current Debian 3CX virtual appliance. I loaded it on VMWare Fusion (for Mac). It loaded up and ran as expected but I noticed that if I rebooted the Debian session it did not return to the 3CX text splash image ,,, instead it just boots to a login prompt.
I’m assuming it’s a compatibility issue with VMWare Fusion. But before I venture to other Virtual host platforms, I wanted to check if anyone experienced this issue.

I would have thought that rebooting to a login prompt is normal behaviour?

Can you access the 3cx management console

My instance running in a Linux KVM does the same thing. Same behavior in Hyper-V.
I would consider this normal. Is there a reason you want the splash screen to show on the console?

My 2 cents. I'd never want any appliance to show anything other than a login prompt on the console for security reasons.

What you are currently seeing is exactly what is to be expected. There is no 3CX splash screen



If this is what you are referring to, then it only appears the first time when the 3CX Configuration tool runs, its part of the tool routine.
