Hi

I upgraded my 3cx last night, v18 update 8 on windows server 2016.
The desktop app ins now not downloading from the management console, the installed version on the system remains 18.12.425
Can I manually download the new version an place it in the 3cx file location?
If so where can I download form and where can I place it?

Regards
Johan

I have today upgraded a second site from v18 update 5 up to update 8 also on windows 2016 server.
This system too is not downloading the latest desktop app, the installed version here is also 18.12.425, it shows the new app is available but fails to download.

Are you talking about the Updates page in the management console, or installing it on your PC?

If the former, I’ve seen apps take a few tries to update from 3CX’s servers, or it will update for Windows and not MacOS or whatever. I’d wait a bit and try again.

In the management console updates page. It shows 18.13.959 is available online, but it does not download.
I will wait it out, the MAC update was also not working, that has now downloaded after 1 day.

Are automatic updates on? We have our clients on Debian. We just updated ours overnight via "auto" and the app was prompting to self update on my PC this morning.

Generally we avoid manual updates on Debian, so OS updates will also get installed. I think the issue I'm remembering was when the security patch was rushed out and everyone was downloading it so I assumed the servers were busy...I just tried a few times that day.

Hi Steve

Yes I switched auto updates on today, so I will see if this makes a difference. On my debian systems I have no problem, It is only the windows server instances that gives me this problem.

It downloaded over night, i have the auto update set. This seemed to work. Thank you.
