Hello 3CX Support,

At my company, we will deploy the 3CX Desktop App using GPO for our 2000 users.

We don't want that our users need to login on the webclient, then click on "Windows buttom", and then click on "Provisioning" buttom in order to provision their Desktop App....

How can I add a buttom (or a link) on the "Welcome Extension" mail in order to provision their Desktop App more simple, just by a one click ?

(I think we could add a link like that "tcx+app:HTTPS://<FQDN>/P/xxxxxxxxxxxx/<3CXPROVID>' but I don't know how I can retreive the 3CXPROVID)

I thnk you for your advise.

As far as I can think of, there isn't any way to get this value, other of course than scanning each individual QR code, but even that would do what you want because by the time you want to put it in the Welcome Email, I assume it's something that you would want to to be pulled dynamically for each user dependin on who it is being sent to.

I realize this would be easier for the users, I think you may want to consider providing them with instructions on how to do it via the WebClient.

So you will not be using the built-in Welcome Email function, you want to "simulate" it with your own SMTP and just retrieve the information required?

No, we will use the built-in Welcome Email function but we want to modify the Template in order to insert link the provision their Desktop App.

In fact, we just need our to retreive the provision link url in order to insert it on the Welcome Email ...

The variables that can be used within the Welcome Email are these:
%%EXTFIRSTNAME%%
%%EXTNUMBER%%
%%EXTPIN%%
%%VMNUMBER%%
%%WMFRIENDLYNAME%%
%%CLICK2TALK%%
%%WEBCLIENTURL%%
%%SERVICES_ACCESS_PASSWORD%%
%%WEBCLIENTURLPUBLIC%%

There is currently no variable for what you want to do.

Also I can't think of a work-around way to dynamically retrieve the information you want.
Unless someone else has some idea, I can't see how you can do this.

In 2021, it's a shame we can't automate the whole process...

3CXCONFIG can be attach in order to provision the old Windows client.
At least, the same should be done for the new Windows Desktop App....

Also here to say hat we need the ability to centrally deploy and provision the new 3CX Desktop app.
