Solved 3cx email stopped functioning

Email was working fine, but has stopped functioning. Before, I would hit the "test" button under "Email Settings" and would receive a prompt back if failed or sent.

It does nothing now. Any suggestions?

Using the Elastix 5 with debian.

Verified all services appear to be running. Is strange as was sending fine. It seems it doesn't even try to send now.

Resolved. Issue was on my end with communication. 3CX (Elastix) doesn't report an error when it cannot ping the mail server. It just sits idle. Found by running a lookup directly through debian (was a routing issue)
