3CX Failover

i have a 3CX debian 9 running on an Intel NUC. I want to install a failover on another intel NUC on site.
In the admin manual it is shown as Server one or active has a static IP address 1.1.1.1 and server 2 or passive has an IP address 2.2.2.2.
My question is that how can the desk phones be on the LAN of both servers?
Even if the passive server takes over in the event of a failure how does it connect to the phones?

You configure the phones to use the fqdn of the server and not IP address. Under the phone provisioning tab, select the fqdn in 'select interface'

When you have a failure you change the fqdn to point to the server running.

I forgot to explain the purpose, my fault. I want to protect against
1. Internet failure
2. mini PC failure

Hypothetically, I have two internet connections Provider A & Provider B
and I have two Mini PCs running 3CX with same FQDN on debian.

Phones and MiniPC A are on the Ethernet LAN of the router from Provider A and a failure happens with Provider A service or Mini PC A.
Provider B internet service and Mini PC B are working with same FQDS, will the 3CX service switch over?
