3CX fails v18 updgrade

Good morning everyone, for months now I have been trying to upgrade my 3cx instance from v16. We host on our linux server. Each time I press the upgrade option in the management console it starts the process. I could wait forever and it will never finish the upgrade and let me back in, but it does update debian. Just shows connection errors when trying to get into management console and I have to reboot server to see that debian is upgraded but still not working PBX. Then I restore to a snapshot and rinse and repeat.

If I was you, start again

Take a backup of 3cx with fqdn and license key - copy this file locally

Reinstall 3CX using the debian ISO image , selecting restore from backup
