3cx Fax Server wont install.

I want to receive faxes but am not able. In looking at my setup I see the "3cx PhoneSystem FAX Server" service is not started. Is this normal? I try to start it and it gives an error. The event log says

The description for Event ID 2 from source 3CXFAXSrv cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

I try to install the 3CX Fax Server Setup that I download from the "links" section of my pbx admin page but it wont install. It gets to the part that says ender the IP address of the 3cx Phone System Server. I put 127.0.0.1, localhost, actual IP, and the hostname but nothing I put will work. The error says it cannot connect to the server. Everything is running on this server and its working fine other than this. Calls in and out.

Any idea why i cant get the fax server to install? Windows 2008 server.

Put a second IP on your ethernet card and use that IP as faxserver IP.
(definitely did the job on w2k8 R2)
