Solved 3CX for Android does not ring but show missed calls afterward

All this is very strange and I can't really see a pattern.
The last thing I can think of is maybe IPv6 is enabled on the server.

If not, I must strongly advise you contact a 3CX Partner to have a closer look at your system, and liaise with 3CX Support if they deem it necessary.

Hello everyone,

Finally, after going through the logs and also, lots of documents on the website, there are the 3 following tasks below would fix this issue in version 16. I gather them here for anyone who might be in the same situation as myself.

Reference to the following document:

This is applied for Debian-based 3CX installed on Hyper-V. And with no specific order:

1/ Install the ntp. SSH into your 3CX server with root priviledge
apt update
apt install ntp

2/ Disable the ipv6 for Debian 3CX server:
- SSH into your 3CX server
- Edit the following file: nano /etc/sysctl.conf
- At the end of the file, add the following line:
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
- Save and quit
- Restart your server

3/ Set static MAC address for your 3CX virtual machine
Refer to the guide in Reference 1 above.

Reboot your server once more time to ensure all updates take effect
Create extension, send it via email to your users
As a user, you should use the app to add your 3CX extension (profile) FROM the email (not from the server's mgt interface)
All is good now. Android to iPhone and vice-versa, all ring and working OK in any network environments: LTE, LAN, Public, etc...

I am really glad to hear that your issue has gone away after these steps! Indeed, Debian VMs on Hyper-V are very prone to issues unless this guide is followed.

Not sure wither what made the difference, but glad it did!

We tried several ways and re-installed several times, finally, we gather all of that and it makes it
In your experience, what is the most reliable way (or the least prone to issues) to deploy the 3CX server?
And finally, are you guys close to release the Alpha 3CX yet?

Honestly? The best advice and can give is follow the guide to the letter:
https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/

We have all steps in there (even the Hyper-V guide link) and if followed exactly, installations avoid the usual "pitfalls".
There will always be the odd case where something doesn't work, but with the above you will minimize this by a lot.
