How suitable is 3CX as a hotel PBX system? Since the software is sold based on the number of simultaneous calls, is this likely to create problems for hotels? Meaning, if there aren't enough SC's in their integration, some of the guests can't place a call?

Will calls to 911 always go through? Even when the max number of simultaneous calls are being held?

All numbers defined as emergency will override trunk hours, SC limits, etc

Note: This doesn't mean your SIP Trunk allows unlimited calls, but that's not 3CX.

You need to define first the required SC calls. Meaning will all rooms make outbound calls at the same time?

I suspect very few people use the room phones in a hotel for anything other than calling the front desk, restaurant, and other internal services. If a guest is calling a friend, they are going to use their mobile phone not the hotel phone. So, I suspect the ratio of guest rooms to simultaneous calls is going to be very low. Perhaps 1 SC for every 30 or more rooms? That's just a guess.

Yes this depends on the amount of rooms and services of each hotel.
