Hello,

Seem to have an interesting problem with 3CX for Windows. The software is registered, says it "On Hook", properly displays line presence for each extension added to the virtual side car. The error is when you attempt to dial an extension, even 9999 for voicemail, you get "call failed". If I put the software in CTI mode, that part works with the desk set. All of this is internal to the network.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Daniel

Yes, I used the provisioning e-mail. I'm still using V14 SP3, so there is no web client. I am aware that this now an unsupported version but 90% of my hardware loses significant features on V15. So I posted here to see if any of my fellow 3CX'ers might have dealt with this in the past.

A possible reason could be the audio devices - please check in the 3CX client what audio devices you have selected.

P.S Also, you could check for audio codec.

I use the client on the computer mostly for listening to voicemails. My desktop didn't have a microphone on it and adding one made the difference, however if I dial 9999 (the voicemail extension) when it prompts me for a PIN, the keypad doesn't work on the client. That part is trivial to me about the keypad. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Vali.
