Hello Community
I have the following challenge.
I have downloaded and installed 3CXSoftphone (3CX.msix) from the MS Store.
This then creates an icon which works when we click on it.
But now we want to install the software via a software distribution. The installation as such works, but calling up the application no longer does. We create our own application icon via this software distribution application, which we make available to the users. To do this, we need to specify the path and exe of the application.
The application was installed under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\3CXDMCC.3CX_20.0.494.0_x64__97f1hnz6y6tba. However, the directory is very restricted in terms of authorisations. As a test, I have increased the authorisations there so that users have sufficient rights. A 3CXSoftphone.exe file is also visible there. If you click on this file, nothing happens. The application is not started although the 3CXSoftphone.exe process is visible in the Task Manager. If you start the application again via the exe file, another process is started but the application is still not visible.
What should be done so that 3CXSoftphone starts via the software distribution application? Are parameters necessary? How should the directory authorisations be set? Please provide the relevant information
