I have been testing very heavily on 3CX and comes to realize a critical issue not documented down:

============================================================================
The default 3CX Push Notification service offers to you has a weekly limit of 2000.
============================================================================

What this means is that, when the limit is reached, you no longer have push notification till the stats are reset weekly.

So what is the solution? Get your own Google Firebase to replace the default 3CX Push Notification. But the problem now is, the pricing structure is very unclear.
https://firebase.google.com/pricing

For Phone Auth, there is a monthly limit of 10000 for both free and the $25 plan, after those plans, there will be changes of $0.01 for US, Canada, and India. For all other countries, it is $0.06.

Now I am very worried, can someone who is an expert in Google Firebase answer my questions:

1) So for example, I have 500 users, each receives 10 phone calls a day, that is 5000 per day and 150000 per month, so the price I have to pay is:
(150000 - 10000) X 0.06 = 8400
I have to pay $8400 for push notification every month. Is that right?

2) How do I check the statistic of Google Firebase, I cannot see how much push notification I am using.

3) Do I need this Google push notification for Apple phone?

4) Do I need this Gooogle push notification for Hardphone and Windows softphone?

Thank you.

This looks like an excellent question for the Google forums.

So I did 30 seconds of reading on the pricing page and I think you are ok:

12014

12015

3. FCM is for Android. Apple has their own push service.

4. I guess you don't understand what push is for. Push is to wake up apps when they are sleeping. When they wake up, they connect to 3CX and then receive whatever data they were woken up for. So no Google FCM is not used for IP phones or Windows clients

I am trying to get some answer from Google support. In the meantime, I saw this on google website:

==============================================================================
FCM is free and unlimited for all Firebase plans (pricing page).

We don't impose a limit on the number of messages you can send, but there is a limit on how many messages you may send per second. Although there's no specific number, sending too many messages in a small time frame can set off our abuse detection systems and result in either a DeviceMessageRateExceeded or TopicsMessageRateExceeded error.
==============================================================================

FCM stands for Firebase Cloud Messaging.

I will update here once I get a confirmation from Google Support.
