Hi Guys,

New to 3CX and managed to figure everything else out BUT Hotdesking.

I have enabled hotdesking and added a Yealink T41P handset, added the agents that are allowed to hotdesk. I am having issues provisioning the phone.

I have to use Direct SIP (STUN - Remote) provisining on my devices as the plug and play dosen't work on my network for some reason.

I acannot get the phone to the necessary Hotdesking place :(

First of all, where is your 3CX hosted? Locally or cloud?

Then, why do you say that PnP doesn't work? If cloud hosted, without an SBC it won't. If local, 3CX itself should respond to PnP requests.

Now, what license are you using? Hotdesking is available only in Pro and Enterprise licenses. Also, be sure to read the manual about Hotdesking here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/hot-desking/

Hotdesking does not work with stun setup, only local and sbc

You will have to install a sbc server if the phones are remote to the 3cx server if you want Hotdesking

If the phones are local to the 3cx server i.e same network you need to work out why pnp is not working

You require Pro or enterprise license https://www.3cx.com/ordering/pricing/

I have it hosted on 3CX's cloud for now, and will be migrating across to google cloud eventually.

I am on the professional plan, so hot desking should be avalible.

But as stated by @Saqqara not supported in STUN mode, Local LAN mode or SBC only.

Surprisingly the T41P (or T41 as it states in 3CX) is supported for Hotdesk, due to the age of this product it is interesting to see this - ensure your FW is upto date and try again over SBC.
