Hi,
we have a 3cx Hosted by 3CX on google cloud.
Our free year is almost over.

What will happen now?
We want to continue with the (free) standard edition
How can we logon to the google account to extend it?

thanks!

Sorry to thread hijack but, given the Google offer of $250 of free credit for 1 year on a new account, wouldn't that mean the second year could effectively be free as well :)?

this would be a deal between you and google, but if you can get it, then yes - spend the 250$. Depending your install size, there is also the google free tier.

Just another small information, you can warp your installation into your own account. You will receive an eMail that the hosting will be terminated soon which 3CX provides for free. In this email is an Link, if you click it, PBXexpress will ask you for the new destination of your installation (which can be google again or anything else 3CX supports).

Useful info, thanks. From experience, the "free for life" "micro" tier is best avoided as even on a very basic install (1 SIP channel, 2 phones) the VPS does not have enough memory to avoid services crashing.

Main issue is the low Memory, which can be countered by creating a SWAP file to avoid the above stated outcome.
