3cx hosted as off site voicemail

At some point we'll have to replace an existing legacy voice mail system.
I've set up a few boxes to test the hosted, and it seems it'll work for us.

There are a couple pages I've seen with different subscriptions. not sure which sub would be the right one.
Maybe the Hosted Pro 8sc ? (May not be enough traffic for dedicated).

-hosted -8 sc
-4 sip trunks connect to a Mitel 3300
-2 sip trunks to ahoy or flowroute for outbound
-couple hundred extensions, couple auto attendants
-voice mail to txt or email

8SC for 200+ extensions? Are they all low use?

Hosted By 3CX doesn't go past 32SC and in general rule of thumb has been 3 to 1 (1 SC for every 3 real extensions). You can still host via a public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc) if you do need more SC.

Very low use. I'd say the PBX would get less than 50 inbound calls a day. ... It's only when an ext on the 3300 isn't picked up, we send the call out to the PBX on a sip trunk, caller goes to that ext's voice mail box.

Not sure why this got moved to General, it's about 3cx Hosted PBX and Subscriptions.. .

In your 5 requirements above I don't see anything that would stop you from using a 8SC hosted pro sub. It really boils down to these features for Enterprise vs Pro

And the standby/failover doesn't matter when dealing with Hosted.

The $250 is the cost of hosting, annual as far as I know/understand.
You still have the cost of the 8 Pro license. MSRP on 8SC Hosted is $515/yr. Partners set their own prices though so you may pay less, depending. The license MSRP on a 8SC dedicated is $265.
