3CX hotel functions without PMS

Hello everyone,

i'm searching about informations on how to handle check-in/check-out features for an Hotel setup without the need of a PMS.
I found some articles

and understood that for check-in/check-out, the receptionniste user with the right roles, can, from webclient, select user and "assign" the extension or "unassign" the extension.
What is not clear for me is when an extension is checked-out, i'm expecting that extension take a default name, previously set, like Room 404, but now when i unassign, i get just an extension empy with 404 what is not the expected result.
Also i read that extension can be blocked for external calls when not checked-in, how can i configure that?
or may be these function need really the PMS connection and can't be handled locally by webclient on 3CX?

When an extension is "Checked Out" by clearing the extension, it will go to an empty configuration. There is no "default name" for these types of extensions.

The disabling of external calls is instant, and automated. There is no configuration required from you. You can go into a cleared extension and will just see that the user has Disable external calls enabled.
