Dear community,

I was wondering if it is possible to create an inbound CID rule that is invoked when different CIDs are calling. This would avoid necessity to create multiple rules.

For example, i want to forward calls from numbers 000-0000-0001, 000-0000-0002 and 000-0000-0003 to sales. Do i have to create a separate rule for each phone number or can i add them in CID field and separate them by coma or semicolumn?

Maybe it would be a great feature if incoming rules could work using Contacts from the address book. For example, forward all calls from Contact1 and all the numbers it has to Sales

Thank you

Hello again,

I did not find any documentation on this, but it seems you can add multiple CIDs separated by comma.
For example if you want all calls from 000-0000-0001, 000-0000-0002 and 000-0000-0003 to be redirected to sales just create an Inbound CID rule and put this in CID field

Code:
00000000001, 00000000002, 00000000003

you can also use mask. For example if you want all numbers that start from 06, 03 and 07 to redirect to sales, then put this in CID
Code:
06*, 03*, 07*

There is a problem though, that the number of characters in CID field is limited. therefore if you want to do this for more then 4 numbers (more or less depending on how long is the number), you will need to add a new Rule. Well it is still better to create 4 rules then 16 rules, but increasing limit for CID field would be a nice improvement.
