Solved 3CX Installation on Hetzner VPS

Hi guys, i am trying to setup 3cx on a hetzner vps. I requested the custom 3cx debian iso to be uploaded in the available ISOs list, mounted it to my VPS and began the installation.

There I get a network issue. Debian doesn't reach Hetzner gateway (172.31.1.1). Not by DHCP, nor by manual setup.

I tried to find a solution and i managed to install debian official ISO (from the list) with network support through Rescue mode with installimage. Their wiki says that custom image is possible to be installed as long as it's tar.gz. The 3cx image is .iso.

Any help would be much appreciated!

We recommend that you contact Hetzner and mention that you're trying to install the 3CX ISO on their server. The ISO contains a Debian 9 image. If you're not able to reach the Hetzner gateway, I suggest troubleshooting that first.

The alternative is to use a 3CX Supported PBX Cloud provider.

i got in touch with hetzner and they sent me a link of their internal wiki

i followed the instructions and managed to connect to the internet after installation. Unfortunately, i cant connect while the installation is running, and the setup cannot download 3cx packages. Is it possible to download 3cx files after the setup, or is it necessary to be connected during the setup?
