3CX Instant Call

Hi,
In v16 (16.0.9) it is possible to make a call with the windows client with this commando C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp>3CXClickToCall.exe <PhoneNumber>
But in V18(18.0.1880) this doesn't work anymore.
I've also tried to make a call with the 3CXDesktopApp with this commando. C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Programs\3CXDesktopApp\app\3CXDesktopApp.exe tel:<PhoneNumber> but that doesn't automatically call. But it does place the number in the dialer

3CX Desktop app version: 18.3.33
3CX Phone for Windows version: 16.3.0.220


Does someone has a solution for this?

The new app supports tel: and callto: URIs. If you can trigger that somehow, it should be able to open in 3CX. Obviously, you need to tell Windows to send the protocol to the app.

The old app still works by the way. You can still use it with the 3CXCallTrigger.cmd

Well the commando C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp>CallTriggerCmd.exe --call <number> did work, but you need to have a pro+ license to make the call right?
why isn't this mentioned on the pricing list https://www.3cx.com/ordering/pricing/ ?

Yes, it does require a Pro or Enterprise license.

If you click on tel:// it would be nice if the dialer of the new 3CX Desktop App would automatically call the number, instead of just inserting it into it. Would it be possible to get that option?

I've already tried many things at the 3CX Desktop App and find out that the tel and callto parameters works to place the number in the dialer.

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Programs\3CXDesktopApp\app\3CXDesktopApp.exe tel:<PhoneNumber>
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Programs\3CXDesktopApp\app\3CXDesktopApp.exe callto:<PhoneNumber>

I've also find that the recent call button uses this data. (Found in the log folder at C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\3CXDesktopApp\logs)

Does someone already know how to call with the 3CX Desktop App with a commando?
