Hi guys,

has anyone tried to integrate 3CX with Infinity law(it's an app mostly used by the law firms)? I've tried to get it done with Multiline TAPI, but no luck. do appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks,
Nima

You need to use the CRM server API for this and create a template for it. I would suggest you contact Infinity law and ask them to do it. A normal developer can do it in about 2 days. Here is the document how to do it

Thanks Nick, but shouldn't 3CX and Infinity law be communicating through TAPI by default? since they both support TAPI.

Thanks
Nima

Hello Nima,

If Infinity law supports TAPI, then you should be able to do the integration. However, please note the features supported by the 3CX TAPI Service Provider (it's not a complete implementation):
- You can make calls.
- You can hang up an established call.
- You can receive inbound call notifications.

In order to make TAPI work, you need to install 3CXPlugins, select Multiline TAPI, and configure the extension you use in your 3CXPhone for Windows in this particular PC.

If it's not working, first check if TAPI is properly installed. You can do this from the Control Panel > Phones and modem > Advanced tab. You should see 3CX TAPI listed there. If you do, select and press the Configure button. A text file should be opened, and you should see your extension number and name.

Kind regards.
