Hello 3CX Support,

We have configured Microsoft 365 integration in our 3CX system, and it shows as running. However, we are receiving the following warning message:
“Real Time Notifications to Microsoft 365 are not in sync. If HTTPS port forwarding is not configured changes are only updated every 24 hours. To get real time updates, fix your HTTPS port forwarding. Subscription validation request timed out.”
Noted: we allowed any sources ip to accessible to 3CX via HTTPS but no luck the configuration real time still not working.

Could you please assist us with the following:

  • Which specific HTTPS ports and services must be allowed/forwarded in our firewall for M365 integration real-time notifications to work correctly?
  • Are there any DNS or public certificate requirements we need to verify for proper validation?
  • How can we confirm that the subscription validation is successfully processed from 3CX to Microsoft 365?
  • Is there any diagnostic log or trace we can check in 3CX to troubleshoot why the subscription validation request is timing out?

Do you all ever know this issue before? we would appreciate your guidance to resolve this and ensure real-time synchronization with Microsoft 365.

Best regards,

The https port being referred to is the one used for the 3CX system. When accessing the admin console, use the port you are using, e.g., TCP 443.

For the requirements for the certificate, please check with Microsoft directly.

Thank you for your kindly response.

Yes, the 3CX server we allowed any sources ip address to 3CX via HTTPS TCP(443) and the server be able to access from external. but anyway the real time notification not sync.

we actually tried the best follow the requirement from Microsoft but still not working.

Hope if someone used to know and advice for the solution.

Best regards,

Is firewall check passing?
have you got conditional access in 365 set up?

Best regards,
Check and ensure there is no geo-blocking in place on your firewall that may be limiting access.
